The “Basic Principles for Assigning Credit Ratings” with effective date 13 February 2017 replace the basic principles dated October 2014. This update results in a stronger transparency of Euler Hermes Rating’s procedures when assigning credit ratings. These principles set the basis for all rating methodologies published by Euler Hermes Rating.
This update does not result in any changes of rating methodologies. Accordingly, no ratings are affected.
The revised Basic Principles for Assigning Credit Ratings are available on the rating agency’s website under Principles 2017.
